Every now and then you just need to do a shoot where you get to play around, make mistakes and find your groove again.

My wonderfully talented friend, Mikhara Ford and I paired up with the beautiful Caitlin to do a “quick” portrait session. When we got to the venue, the surroundings were breathtaking and we couldn’t have asked for the sun to play along any better than it did, so needless to say, the “quick” session turned into a whole afternoon of bare-foot, laughter filled exploration and magic.

I recently had the privilege to once again team up with my best friend and work on a styled shoot. This time though, it was all up to Mikhara, and boy, did she deliver.

She managed to find this beautiful couple, who are clearly in-love and who made the day and absolute pleasure. But, not only did she manage to find two stunning models, she also found the most gorgeous venue (and we weren’t the only ones who thought so, as not 20 minutes into the shoot, more and more photographer, with couples in hand, started arriving).

The day yielded some beautiful photos and we were all very pleased with the special little moments we managed to create.

I’ve been in a bit of a slump lately when it comes to my photography. So what better way to pick yourself up than to arrange a mini portrait session?

Mikhara Ford and I teamed up again, with the stunning Meghan in front of the lens. We were going for a soft, airy feel with these pics, made easy by the fact that Meghan is a ballerina. Everything just came together so well, she really looked like a swam princess.
